Honey in its natural, raw form is produced by enzyme activity, plant matter, and living bacteria coming together to create a powerful ingredient. Honey, or nature’s gold, contains the natural properties of balancing bacteria on the skin, mild exfoliation from enzymes, and deep hydration. The honeybees at Shipley Acres produce pure, raw honey from the hives on the farm property for our Raw Honey, Honey Cinnamon Sugar Foot Scrub, and Whipped Exfoliating Honey Body Wash products.
Beeswax, otherwise known as Cera Alba, has been used on the skin since Egyptian times. This natural wax creates a protective layer on the skin to retain moisture while attracting additional moisture from the environment to keep skin soft and naturally hydrated. Cera Alba also possesses natural anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and antioxidant properties while being non-comedogenic so it will not clog pores.
